I have always been interested in how systems shape what people can do.

Learning to see the whole system

My educational background in international relations taught me to look beyond individual events and understand the institutions, incentives, and histories around them. That way of thinking has stayed with me throughout my career.

I moved into technology through Full Stack Development, learning how digital products work from database to interface. Building software gave me a practical vocabulary for turning an idea into something people could use—and an appreciation for all the decisions that determine whether a product succeeds beyond the code.

From products to programs

As my work expanded, I moved into product management and technical program leadership. At Microsoft, I worked as a Technical Program Manager and Product Manager, helping teams coordinate complex technology work. That experience sharpened how I think about scale, cross-functional leadership, and the operating systems behind successful products.

My Code for America Fellowship brought those skills into public-interest technology. Working with government and community partners reinforced a simple lesson: the best solution begins with a close understanding of the people and systems it is meant to serve.

Community and entrepreneurship

I founded Haitians in Tech to connect Haitian technology professionals and mobilize technical talent around Haiti's social and economic development. As Founder and Executive Director, I have focused on community building, open-source collaboration, and expanding the role technologists can play in Haiti's future.

I also founded The Startup Life LLC as a platform for my entrepreneurial work. Building companies has brought together the different parts of my background: understanding systems, developing products, leading technical programs, and making decisions under uncertainty.

What I am exploring now

Today, I am focused on building useful technology businesses and public-interest platforms, advising founders and organizations, and writing about innovation. I am also exploring healthcare operations, AI-enabled operating companies, and business acquisition as future directions.

The common thread is systems building: finding an important problem, understanding the environment around it, and assembling the technology, people, and operations needed to make progress.
